Star-like flowers emerge in very early spring growing about 6-8" tall.
Chionodoxa are deer resistant and easy to grow in full sun to partial shade. They should be planted before the first hard frost in your area in well-drained soil.
When planted in drifts, wait at least 6 weeks after flowers bloom to mow the lawn. This is one of the few flower bulbs that do well under walnut trees.
